Storyline

In the summer of 1979 Horst follows his heart and moves from a suburb of Germany to the melting pot of NYC. He had no money, job, or knowledge of English , but only the desire to build a new life as a gay man in a city where anything and anyone is accepted. On May 12 of 1992 Horst dies in his New York apartment from his ongoing battle with AIDS. He leaves behind videos, letters, photos and a few cloths but most importantly the memories from his friends, family and lover.
